Lozada Pickleball
The Lozada Pickleball project features 4 covered pickleball courts located in Poblacion, Cordova, Cebu. The project was designed to provide a functional, comfortable, and accessible recreational facility for pickleball enthusiasts and the community.
Scope of work
Abante Builders Inc. provided construction services, including labor and materials, for the development of the covered pickleball courts. The scope also included 3D modeling, visualization, and renderings, with an estimated construction period of 180–240 days.
Client requirement
The client envisioned a facility featuring 4 covered pickleball courts that would accommodate players of different ages and skill levels. The client also provided preferences for the building’s color palette and overall architectural theme to achieve a cohesive and visually appealing design.
Site or construction challenge
The project involved addressing the existing elevated floor level, irregular lot geometry, and a corner that did not conform to a perfect 45-degree angle, requiring careful elevation planning and precise column alignment. Material availability and delivery delays were also encountered, which the team addressed through continuous coordination with the project engineer and suppliers.

Abante Builders Inc. prioritized structural integrity, durability, and long-term performance while considering cost efficiency, functionality, and minimal maintenance requirements. The team also incorporated universal design principles to promote accessibility, safety, and comfort for persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, children, and pickleball enthusiasts.
