Vertudazo Apartment
A three-storey mixed-use commercial building by Abante Builders Inc., designed to maximize a compact urban property while maintaining a clean and contemporary architectural identity. The development combines flexible ground-floor commercial spaces with upper-level units, unified by a modern facade featuring vertical architectural screens, balconies, warm wood accents, and a restrained neutral palette.
Scope of work
Abante Builders Inc. developed the architectural planning and design, facade concept, commercial and upper-floor space organization, circulation, parking layout, material selection, and exterior architectural detailing. The design focused on creating an efficient mixed-use property with a strong street presence and practical separation between commercial and upper-level functions.
Client requirement
Develop a compact multi-level property that can accommodate mixed residential and/or commercial uses.
Site or construction challenge
The primary challenge was organizing multiple functions within a narrow building footprint while maintaining efficient circulation, accessibility, privacy, and usable commercial frontage. The vertical nature of the development also required careful consideration of facade proportions, sun exposure, balcony areas, and the relationship between the ground-floor businesses and upper-level occupants.
